Growing National firm looking to add a talented Senior Transmission Engineer / Project Manager to their Indianapolis team!
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for project management duties including design, modeling, development, and drawing of a transmission line structure or system
- Provide technical oversight including managing the quality control process, analyzing data to find discrepancies
- and identify solutions
- Assist with business development
- Mentor / train junior staff
- Administrative duties including developing / communicating / tracking workflows, scheduling, ensuring projects meeting quality standards and project documents are consistent with project plans and within scope / budget
Requirements :
- B.S. Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Master’s degree in engineering a plus
- 8+ years of engineering design experience in high voltage transmission / distribution line engineering (12kV to 345Kv)
- 3+ years of managing transmission line projects preferred
- Extensive knowledge of transmission steel structure design / analysis (substation preferred)
- Knowledge of applicable safety codes, utility standards and regulations (NESC, ASCE, IEEE)
- Knowledge of PLS-CADD preferred
- Knowledge of standard engineering design principals
Salary is commensurate with experience.
