Corporate Staff Accountant
Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an exciting career opportunity for a Corporate Staff Accountant to join our team in Minneapolis!

This role will focus on the accounting and reporting of payroll activities, sales and use tax, and other general ledger accounting while working directly with the Senior Director of Tax.
Some things you can expect to do :
- Monitor and record payroll transactions such as salaries, benefits, and payroll taxes.
- Monthly sales and use tax filings to support the construction operations of the business - including preparation, filing and payment & research and analysis of sales and use tax laws as it relates to Ryan Companies.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax return filings.
- Complete monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
- Reconciling reports from internal and external partners to the general ledger.
- Potential for other responsibilities depending on the workload associated with the above.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or business-related field of study.
- 1+ year of accounting experience.
You will really stand out if you have :
- Experience with SAP, JD Edwards or similar program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong math skills and a focus on process improvement.
- Ability to work independently to complete duties on deadlines.
- Possess intermediate computer skills including proficiency in Excel and Outlook applications.
Eligibility :
Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
Compensation :
The annual base pay is $64,800 - $80,950 per year. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities.
Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and / or an incentive program.
