The ideal candidate will specialize in integrated circuit design , supporting the development of an IC design center for research and education.

Experience with chip design, validation, and tapeout using foundry nodes is crucial, and familiarity with design automation is a plus.

Applications for these circuits could span many areas, including advanced memory, cybersecurity, novel computing architectures, image sensors, RFIC, biomedical engineering, and beyond.

Minimum Requirements : PhD in Electrical and / or Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, by the time of appointment.

Salary and Benefits : The annual salary for this open-rank position starts at $110K for a 9-month assistant professor.

Our standard faculty contract is a 9-month contract (unless otherwise noted) with pay and benefits spread over 12 months.

This is a yearly, renewable contract, unless noted that the position is temporary. More information about faculty contract and work days is available .

Startup packages are commensurate with experience and expected research needs. Reduced course loads are offered based on scholarly activity.
