Radiation Therapist - (Rad Ther)

StartDate : 12 / 2 / 2024 Available Shifts : 8 D Pay Rate : $2113.66 - $2435.31

Radiation Therapist needed asap5 8 hour shifts, Days Monday-Friday, 8am-4 : 30pm and 9am-5 : 30pm.Under general supervision, the Radiation Therapist performs radiotherapy procedures as prescribed by a physician according to established standards and practices.

Provides patient care, treatment, and services within the scope of their license, certification, registration, and / or assessed competencies.

Practice will be in accordance with laws and regulations and will adhere to established policies, procedures and practice guidelines.

All travelers must have a permanent address of 50 miles or more to qualify as a traveler.Job QualificationsEducation : A minimum of associate’s degree in radiography with a certification in radiation therapy is required.

Bachelor’s degree in radiation therapy is preferred. Graduate of a JRCERT approved school registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.

Licensures / Certifications : State of Ohio licensed radiation therapist; ARRT license; CPR certified.Experience : A minimum of 1-2 years of radiation therapy experience is preferred.

Job-related Skills : Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; ability to problem-solve and facilitate resolution to issues;

demonstrates ability to handle multiple priorities; ability to make independent decisions.
