The Student Disability Resources Center (SDRC) provides services for students with various permanent and temporary disabilities.
These disabilities may include : learning disabilities; attention deficit disorder; autism, visual, mobility, or hearing impairments;
psychological disabilities; chronic health disorders (e.g., lupus, Crohn's disease, multiple sclerosis, diabetes); fractures, strains, or stress injuries.
The Disability Specialist interprets medical and other support documentation to recommend and facilitate reasonable accommodations for students to ensure their access to the educational opportunities at the University of California, Riverside.
The Specialist works with individual students to determine eligibility for disability-related accommodations and services, providing appropriate follow-up and disability-related counseling.
They serve as the campus resource specialist in the development of accommodations and academic adjustments for this population, providing on-going consultation and problem-solving assistance to faculty and staff.

The full salary range for the Student Disability Specialist 3 is $66,500 - $118,300 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $79,450.
00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
