Dough Room Requirements :
- 18+ years of age
- Maintain a valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
Dough Room Responsibilities :
Individual :
- Deliver Dough to the restaurants
- Dispatch promptly to each restaurant and back to the dough room in the same manner
- Personal stops are prohibited and follow no rider clause
- Ensure all dough is delivered to each restaurant
- Operate company Delivery Van in a safe and efficient manner
- Promptly report any concerns or maintenance issues
- Capable of finding the best route from the dough room to the restaurants to ensure quick delivery by following all driving laws and regulations.
Hands-on food preparation
- Prepare dough from scratch
- Strong aptitude for following recipes
- Package dough for delivery
- Ability to lift heavy boxes of dough onto shelving and a 50-pound bag of flour into the mixer
- Maintains established standards of sanitation, safety and food preparation as set by the local and state health department;
maintains an orderly, sanitary and safe dough room
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to safely operate all dough room equipment
- Responsible for receiving and storing food and supplies in a safe and approved manner
- Strong math skills with the ability to calculate portion sizes and limit food waste is required
- Obtain a complete knowledge of procedures and follow them.
Other
- Prepare dough items while following the proper recipes to maintain a consistent product and nutritional value when not delivering
- Work in assigned stations as directed by the person in charge; 1. Batches, 2. Cut & Ball, 3. Sheeting, 4. Stacking, 5. Dough Pulls
- Complete all assigned cleaning and prep-work
- Perform any other assignments or tasks assigned by your manager or supervisor
Physical Requirements :
- Able to work in a sitting position, standing, and walking position with frequent changes between positions.
- Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Attendance at work is required.
- Willing and able to deliver in inclement weather
