Job Description :

Based in Las Vegas or Remote. Within the Caesars Entertainment Digital Products team, customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do.

To help us build functional systems that improve the customer experience, we’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack engineer who can be a part of the team that is responsible for the architecture, design, and engineering of the Caesars Entertainment eCommerce booking & reservation experience that enables guests and Caesars Rewards members to shop for rates and availability, book a hotel room, view / modify / cancel their hotel reservations online.

The Senior Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for breaking down and translating user stories into working code, which includes 1) determining level of effort;

2) technical design & system architecture; 3) pair or ensemble programming; 4) reviews & testing; 5) deployment; 6) eCommerce Services infrastructure & stability.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering modern, immersive, and engaging full stack digital experiences and leading backend services engineering alongside responsive web and react native app engineering in a high traffic environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and Maintain Applications : Develop and maintain scalable web applications using C# .NET, MVC, and JavaScript frameworks (such as Angular, React, or .
  • Code Quality and Performance : Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Code Reviews : Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Automation : Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Problem Solving : Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
  • Database Management : Design, implement, and maintain database schemas (SQL Server) and write efficient queries.
  • Automated Testing : Develop automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
  • Collaboration : Work alongside other developers and cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Documentation : Document projects, including requirements, design specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Support and On-Call Duties : Provide support for existing applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24 / 7 availability and response to critical incidents.

  • Stay Current with Technology : Keep up to date with current technology trends and best practices to recommend solutions that fit system constraints, meet user needs, and match the company's strategic outlook.
  • Project Management : Participate in defining and presenting system solutions and timelines for identified business needs and / or technical problems to management.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years programming in an agile software development team
  • 1-2 years of full stack software development experience :
  • Strong proficiency in C# .NET Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React and React Native framework preferred, Angular, React, acceptable) and RESTful APIs.

  • MSSQL

Preferred Skills & Experience :

  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS).
  • Knowledge of software design patterns.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI / CD).
  • Experience with mobile application development is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
