About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Operating Room Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (06 : 45 - 19 : 15);
Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 2 years required License : Active license by start date (pending licenses accepted for submittal) Certifications : BLS Must-Have : Circulate skills Job Description : This position requires night and weekend call approximately 4 shifts per month.
- Float requirement involves assisting the EV lab and various other units.- Handles a variety of patient diagnoses, including General, Ortho, Neuro, Urology, GYN, Bariatrics, ENT, Vascular, and Robotics.
- Conducts special procedures in a unit with 9, 10, and 12-hour shifts.- Works with special equipment such as robotics, various microscopes, lasers, specialty OR tables / beds, and a navigation system for craniotomy.
- Utilizes unit systems like Omnicell and Cerner Surginet for medication, documentation, and communication.- Scrubs are provided.
Additional Information : - The facility provides housing with shared or private arrangements, including amenities like Wi-Fi, cable, linens, kitchen utensils, and towels.
- The facility does not accept local candidates residing within 50 miles.- Call coverage requires the traveler to be within 30 minutes of the working location.
- Experience with Cerner is not required, as no Cerner training is offered. - The facility is a smoke-free environment.- Fit testing must be completed before starting on-site.
