Position Summary

This high impact, high visibility role is critical to supporting our 250-person cross-functional department under Client Financial Analysis & Optimization (CFAO).

The Sr. Manager of CFAO’s Program / Project Management Team, requiring minimal supervision, will be responsible for effectively managing leadership / stakeholder expectations and engagement through clear communication of roles & responsibilities and regular status updates.

As a Sr. Manager, you will lead a high performing team capable of prioritizing & supporting a large portfolio of organizational initiatives with agility & efficiency.

Some of your key responsibilities will include :

• Leading large, cross-organizational programs and projects with high visibility and critical timelines
• Driving successful, on-time milestone delivery by providing oversight, day-to-day management, leadership, direction, and administration
• Creating & cascading clear, salient, and timely leadership-facing materials, influenced by a strong ability to anticipate diverse audience needs (status updates, slides, emails)
• Leading and facilitating productive virtual meetings through clear agendas and follow-up notes to foster alignment & progress
• Producing detailed project plans, action items, and regular stakeholder communication to remain on track
• Partnering with business owners to understand objectives and translate into final project deliverables, keeping timelines and dependencies in mind to meet final target dates
• Ensuring all project needs are met through proactive engagement of support teams and creative problem solving to remove barriers
• Resolving complex business issues and mitigating risk through collaboration, understanding when to escalate to ensure timely resolution
• Strategic portfolio management including shared file organization, resource allocation, and managing changes to scope, schedule, or prioritization
• Driving new pricing strategies from design to implementation quickly and efficiently for underwriters to model
• Leading and developing direct reports to build a high performing team providing regular coaching & feedback, delivering performance reviews, and succession planning
• Identifying and implementing process improvements related to project management standards for the team
• Performing other duties as assigned or determined by business needs

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years at a healthcare company / corporate role, including experience on medium to large scale programs with success dependent on cross-functional partnerships
• 2+ years of experience successfully delivering results through others
• 1+ years of experience managing or contributing to complex projects in a highly matrixed environment
• High proficiency with Microsoft O365 to drive efficiency, organization, and collaboration
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with multiple teams, influencing outcomes, and ensuring efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of project / software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)

• Project Management Certification and / or experience with project management tools

Education

BS or equivalent professional experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is :

$67,900.00 - $174,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.

The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
