The Bank of New York seeks a Senior Vice President, Business Analysis in New York, NY, to provide technical support in a specific business domain within a line of business.

Serve in a cross-program role to ensure quality of the deliverables within areas of expertise and drive innovation and strategic solutions within global, mission-critical, large-scale programs.

Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, and ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation.

  • Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience must include : Creating and reviewing detailed business and functional requirements utilizing tools including Confluence and Jira;
  • Creating test plans and test cases, and executing test cases for the same requirements; Defining business flows and individual function and feature definition for a unified payment processor handling multiple payment types;
  • Defining solutions, scope, and impacts of projects and creation of end-to-end wire and ACH payment processing flows; Utilizing ISO, Swift, Fed, Chip and other industry messaging standards and database structures;
  • Performing payment validations, regulatory controls including OFAC and anti-money laundering controls, and integration with clearing mechanisms and user Interface design;

and Defining integration with ancillary services which support payment processing including definition of points of integration, API definition, data mapping, and controls required.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary / range for this position is expected to be $163,238 to $221,000 per year at the commencement of employment.

Base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department / team performance, and market factors
