About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator to join us.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Administer and maintain Microsoft operating platforms (or like system applications), and

HP / UX operating platforms used to support EDM operating systems and development

efforts.

Configure new equipment, patches, and software upgrades to ensure patches and

firmware upgrades are applicable / appropriate.

Monitor and Support document scanning processes, multiple disk storage devices,

fibre-channel, and Ethernet switches, HP / UX servers, windows servers (web and

document upload) and blade enclosure peripherals.

• Perform, maintain, and validate :
• daily and weekly system backups.
• routine equipment inventory, system checks and data validation
• Generate ad hoc reports.
• Perform Tier 3 level support to include (but not limited to) the following :
• Assist system administrators of interface applications, agency, and network teams

when issues arise.

and troubleshoot application issues to include verifying the integrity of

source files.

Remotely perform user assistance via current DFAS Collaboration (or like tool) to

verify / rectify VPN, ISP or PC issues.

• Correct errors found in routine checks.
• Verify web services and correct issues on web servers.
• Correct interface issues with agency servers.
• Fix discrepancies between servers and databases.
• Run and monitor cycle processing.
• Review and check various system and application logs for errors and validate security

measures.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience : Bachelor's degree and 5 years exp

Required and Desired Skills / Certifications : Security+ and one additional relevant certification

Additional Requirements :

Min Citizenship Status Required : Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must have an Active Secret Clearance
