Sonoran Roots is looking for a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as part-time Receptionist / Budtender, working alongside our Ponderosa Chandler team.

ABOUT THE POSITION :

We are seeking a qualified receptionist with experience in the cannabis industry. Here's a general overview of the role. Receptionists are the first impression of Ponderosa and must be an ambassador for Ponderosa customer service standards and our company culture.

Maintaining a clean and professional environment that aligns with our first-class standards is also crucial to this role.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - PT PM BUDTENDER :

• Staff members must understand, abide by, and enforce AZ Department of Health Services ("AZDHS") rules, regulations, and compliance standards.
• Direct / Check-In customers in accordance with AZDHS compliance and Ponderosa procedures. Check the customer's state product allowance with the Arizona Department of Health Services Verification System (as applicable).
• Answer or direct inquiries through proper channels when needed.
• Monitor Lobby / Patient Waiting Room ensuring a safe, clean and professional working environment.
• Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers to generate business for the dispensary.
• Maintain a current inventory of office supplies.
• Collect all incoming mail and disperse to the proper location.
• Maintain an organized work environment and be attentive to details.
• Update and maintain current product menus and product listings.
• Maintain compliance regarding the management of patient records and all materials containing patient personally identifiable information.
• Complete daily checklists of tasks with efficiency and precision.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and professional working environment.
• Safely and compliantly move cannabis products throughout the facility.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail.
• Greet visitors and customers warmly, both in-person and over the phone, fostering positive relationships.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to enhance business growth.
• Manage customer records and materials containing customer information responsibly.
• Provide excellent customer experiences.
• Work in a high-volume sales environment, standing for extended periods.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and reliability.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :

Job Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : From $15.00 per hour

• Minimum Qualifications (Required) :
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds as needed.
• Quick learner and willing to be coachable and flexible with work tasks.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an AZDHS Facility Agent Card.
• Attention to detail and ability and willingness to follow instructions.
• Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Reliable attendance and communication - show up to work when you say you will and do what you say you will do.
• Criminal background checks will be performed; most marijuana-related crimes will not negatively impact an application.
• Reliable transportation.
• Additional Qualifications (Preferred) :
• Experience in the cannabis industry (formal or informal).
• Desire for full-time employment opportunities with the company.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Cannabis-related education.
