Job Description
Responsibilities
- The Sazerac House Events Manager manages all Sazerac House events and select brand events; develops and directs consumer and community events;
- books and solicits Corporate and Leisure meetings and events; implements the meeting / event portion of the strategic plan;
manages all VIP events and visits to the Sazerac House.
- Work with Marketing Services Team to control costs, generate revenues, and ensure exceptional customer service.
- Ensure world-class customer service is provided to Meeting and Event attendees as well as Sazerac Sales & Marketing teams on VIP visits.
- Develop complete understanding of the focus brands for the Sazerac House. Integrate with brand management team for alignment on core brand building platforms within the Sazerac House.
Work with LA State Manager on participation in New Orleans events and solicit involvement where appropriate. Provide donations and sponsorships for organizations from the Sazerac House based on budgets.
Assist in tastings of the product. Manage Sazerac House and Brand activities such as Tales of the Cocktail and other tasting opportunities to generate "raving fans" of Sazerac Company brands.
Coordinate with marketing team to generate brand-specific events
Work with Marketing Services Team to generate increases in meetings and events throughout all Sazerac House facilities, as it relates to Meeting and Events Visitors through implementation of the strategic plan.
Assist PR & Events Manger in producing press releases and developing schedule of releases to maximize publicity for all Sazerac House events.
Monitor and evaluate priorities and processes as they relate to meetings and events. Make recommendations on changes needed based on event growth.
Identify and complete processes necessary for the smooth operation of all Sazerac House events.
- Build and use CMS for all major external contacts to build usage of Sazerac House facilities. Provide excellent follow-up to meeting and event organizers to generate repeat business.
- Use PDS as a tool to monitor performance and evaluate skills. Participate in PDS discussions with supervisor.
- Work with the team in the development, organization and implementation of the Sazerac House Homeplace Strategic Plan, as it relates to meeting and event generation.
- Participate in CDS discussions as they relate to meetings and events. Make recommendations for improvements.

- Bachelor's Degree
- 5-10 years relevant experience (minimum)
- A valid driver's license
PREFERRED
- Working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Requires Experience consulting, managing and setting up VIP Guest Visits
- Requires Sales experience
- 3 years relevant experience (minimum)
- Requires Experience in New Business Development
