We are currently seeking a Staff Quality Engineer with wafer fabrication environment experience to join our dynamic and experienced team with technical knowledge to the next level in our mission of excellence.

- Ensure the appropriate Quality Systems are established and sustained : these include specifications, SPC, methods for dealing with discrepant material (MRB), process change management and supplier quality
- Establish, maintain and improve fab quality metrics (driving to zero defects) as well as acknowledging and following up on customer complaints (IQA failures, field returns, RMA requests, FA requests, etc.)
- Support supplier quality activities by ensuring incoming materials meet specification requirements and work with Procurement and Fab engineering to qualify new materials.
- Support compliance verification by performing internal audits of systems and processes.
- Quality monitors compliance using audits and drives continual improvement activities corrective action requests and active participation on improvement teams.
- This position requires excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, root cause analysis, developing and maintaining customer and supplier (both internal and external) relationships
- The ability to work constructively with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental goals is also extremely important
You are best equipped for this task if you have :
- BS Engineering, Chemistry or Physics with 3 - 5 years related work experience in a wafer fabrication environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with tools such as 8D's, 5S, FMEA, Poka-Yoke, etc.
- Understanding of statistical tools (SPC, DOE) for use in making data-driven decisions.
- Ability to drive improvement through the leadership of cross-functional continuous improvement activities / teams
- ISO / IATF-16949 Auditor / Lead Auditor certification / experience is a plus.
- ASQ Certification as CQM, CQE and / or CRE and / or formal Six Sigma training (Green / Black Belt certification) would also be a plus
