Job Details
- Registered Nurse specializing in Med / Surg.
- NIHSS Preferred.
- 36 / 48 schedule.
- Every other weekend.
- Required to float.
- General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. The traveler can start any Sunday following completion of compliance documents by the deadline.
- 16 hours of nonbillable orientation.
- Hospital can cancel / call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty if there is a decrease in census.
- Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease / decreased resource need without penalty.
- Contract RN / LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education.
Job Requirements
- 2 years of experience.
- Accepts first time travelers.
- AHA BLS Required.
- MS / Tele and MS Exp required.
- Traveler must live 100 miles from the facility.
Schedule Information
- 36 / 48 schedule is required.
- Every other weekend work is expected.
Unit Specific Information
Contracted RN / LPN team members have a duty to support nursing student education and clinical education.
