Occupational Summary
In support of a clinical department, applies knowledge and skills to resolve complex routine and non-routine administrative problems independently or with others.
Work Performed
- General office support including tasks such as managing phone, mail, filing, scanning, monitoring department emails
- HR and Staff support tasks such as maintaining department rosters, monitoring training, monitoring and reporting on clinician productivity, generating no show and cancellations reports
- Supports billing and collections by performing tasks such as charge capture reconciliation and audits, invoice billing, monthly budgets, and the like.
- Supports scheduling, referrals, visit reminder calls, no show report monitoring, rescheduling patients, updating databases for state mandates, etc for specialty programs such as newborn hearing screening, auditory processing disorder, and others
- Independently generate complex and detailed presentations and reports.
- Assist and advise department head and staff members on administrative problems. Compile reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
Support business operations and strategic planning with analysis and recommendations based on data.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
High school education or equivalent. Preferred education two years of post-secondary education in a business-related field.Â
Experience
Two years of administrative support experience in increasing variety and / or complexity. Preferred experience four years related business or administrative experience to become familiar with general personnel practices, accounting and budgeting principles, and coordination of major office activities.Â
