(), a multi-faceted and rapidly growing architectural and engineering firm with 20 office locations and over 475 employees throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Northeast areas, is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Transportation Structural Engineer in one of our 3 Kentucky offices (Ft Mitchell, Lexington, Louisville).

Position Overview :
The primary focus of this role will be to perform structural engineering design for our diverse clientele supporting KYTC projects.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Perform horizontal structural design of various types of highway, roadway and bridge projects
- Work with the design team comprised of Project Managers, Senior Engineers, and other technical staff to develop engineered solutions for various clients.
- Utilize CAD design software such as ORD and Civil 3D for design and plan production.
- Perform field visits for ongoing design projects.
Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
- EIT preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in horizontal structural engineering in a professional setting.
- Experience working with MicroStation, and / or AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with AASHTO, KYTC, MUTCD, and ADA regulations.
- Strong oral and technical writing skills.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments.
- An attitude and commitment to work cooperatively with others.
