Chittenden Group, a leading insurance agency in Naugatuck, Connecticut, is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support and assistance to the owner of the company to ensure the smooth operation of the agency and facilitate effective decision-making.
Your role will involve a combination of administrative, organizational, and communication tasks, requiring exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
- Confidentiality : Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Relationship Management : Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.
Represent the owner and the agency in a professional and courteous manner.
- Project Coordination : Assist with special projects and initiatives as directed by the owner. Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and communications among team members to ensure successful completion.
- Document Preparation : Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading various documents, including emails, memos, letters, proposals, and presentations.
Maintain document control and versioning to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
Meeting coordination including schedule, prepare agendas and logistics. Efficiently manage the owner's schedule and travel arrangements and prioritizes tasks.
Communications including handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence on behalf of the owner. Respond to inquiries, screen and prioritize messages, and manage document flow to ensure timely responses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field preferred.
- Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in using productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and scheduling software.
