Job Summary
The Process Engineer will advance the state-of-the-art integrated circuit processing capabilities of CMDIS, and assist, instruct, and advise facility users in order to enable them to achieve their research and teaching objectives.
The Process Engineer will focus on direct support of DOD (Nordtech) tool set both in the Micro- and Nano- Fabrication Clean Room (MNCR) and Characterization Core, and on support of Nordtech Users and Projects.
This includes processing samples and training of Internal / External users on the equipment set.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Five (5) years of experience in integrated circuit design, fabrication, characterization and process development
Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience with device and process simulation

Starting Salary / Rate
Expected hiring range : $81,000 - $107,000
Pay transparency disclosure : The selected candidate’s salary will be determined based on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate’s qualifications, experience, education and other job-related credentials.
