PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Hospitalist
Summit, NJ

We are seeking a licensed Physician Assistant with Internal or Family Medicine experience and 1 year of Hospital Medicine experience to work collaboratively with our Hospitalist Team .
Requirements include :
- 1-year experience required; 2-4 years preferred
- NJ Physician Assistant License
- BLS Certification
Responsibilities include :
- Examining patients admitted to the ED
- Coordinating all tests, examinations and treatments
- Interacting with primary care physician to develop treatment plans
- Maintaining hospital records and medications
- Arranging follow up care for patients once they leave the hospital
- Prescribing medications
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients and family members.
