Systems Administrator- Honolulu Hawaii- TS/SCI clearance REQUIRED

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking Systems Administrator to bolster the Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Field Support (DGFS) Program located at Hickman Airforce Base in Honolulu Hawaii, % onsite .

Responsibilities :

• Execute diverse system administration and maintenance tasks linked to monitoring and controlling LINUX and Windows computers hosting classified intelligence data and software applications.
• Conduct administrative operations, including configuration adjustments, system backup and restoration, troubleshooting, and user account management.
• Ensure operational availability of systems, support installations, and devise technical solutions to address challenges.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in Engineering, Science, or related field with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, or to years of work experience in lieu of a degree (flexibility available for candidates in the process of obtaining their degree).
• Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within days of hire)
• TS / SCI government security clearance
• Proficiency in Solaris or Linux Operating Systems, with experience supporting business-critical systems on various server and desktop operating systems.
• Familiarity with deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting core Linux capabilities, including Active Directory authentication, permission management, DNS, Samba, package management, and NFS.
• General understanding of network services, DNS, LDAP, NIS, and Windows system security.
• Excellent communication and customer interaction skills across all levels of users.
• Willingness to travel if necessary and availability for extended work hours, including nights and weekends.

Desired Skills :

• Familiarity with Cisco Enterprise network solutions.
• Experience in centralized configuration management.
• Knowledge of or experience with DCGS (Distributed Common Ground System).
• Previous involvement with the military in some capacity.
• Experience with VMWare or Virtual Computing.
• Experience in ground control or geospatial areas would be advantageous
