Our client is looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager to join their team for a hybrid contract role in Chicago!
In this role, you will drive engagement and build communities around our client's brand, enhancing awareness of their B2B service offerings.
The ideal candidate will be adept at creating compelling content and managing the social media presence across multiple platforms, including company-sponsored blogs, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others as needed.
Responsibilities :
- Initiate and develop engaging content that resonates with target B2B audiences.
- Oversee the creation of posts, entries, and updates for various digital channels, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging.
- Build and nurture communities around the brand, enhancing engagement and fostering relationships with corporate constituents.
- Act as the gatekeeper and primary editor for all content management on the company’s website. Ensure all content is accurate, relevant, and optimized for both users and search engines.
- Develop and implement social media strategies that align with long-term goals. Understand the impact of social media programs on brand perception and website traffic.
- Utilize personal experience and extensive engagement across social media platforms to drive effective B2B communication.
Leverage personal social networks to enhance company visibility.
- Work closely with management and studio teams to integrate relevant social media techniques into corporate culture, products, and services.
- Educate internal teams on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
- Use monitoring tools to measure and analyze the impact of social media activities on the company’s brand and website traffic.
- Report on key metrics and insights to inform future strategies.
Qualifications :
- Experience level : Experienced
- Education : Bachelors
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation, particularly in a B2B context.
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms, content management, and digital marketing strategies.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and understand the long-term implications of social media initiatives.
- Experience with social media monitoring and analytics tools.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage online communities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and educate stakeholders on social media best practices.
