Responsibilities of a School Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants COTAs : Assists Occupational Therapist staff in identifying and assessing students' skills and abilities Assists with the development of the occupational therapy intervention plan as part of the IEP process Assists with data collection and assessment with established service competency documented Provides assistance and training to school staff through consultation Works cooperatively with personnel from other agencies providing services to the student or family Performs related duties as assigned
