NovaCare is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant in Middle River!
Outpatient Orthopedics, Sports, Neuro, Vestibular, Concussion, Pelvic Health, Amputees, Oncology and more!
Our outpatient orthopedic center in Baltimore County Maryland is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (LPTA) to provide exceptional patient care to patients of all ages and abilities.
We are able to consider new graduate physical therapist assistants as our experienced clinicians can offer mentorship. If you are soon sitting for the exam, APPLY! We treat a diverse OP ortho population which includes neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, amputees, oncology (ReVital), pelvic health, industrial and more! Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients.

Our Middle River team support the therapy and rehabilitative needs our surrounding communities. We focus on continuity of care and in need of a dependable licensed clinician who is able to treat 40 hours a week which include some evenings until 7pm.
NO WEEKENDS! An ideal PTA has a strong ortho background. We are able to trained licensed PTAs who are ready for more.

Compensation starting at $23.00 / hr. commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Possesses training and education which allows him / her to assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out prescribed treatment program.
- Implements, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
- Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants, and having passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE.
- State license and / or certification must be valid in the state in which the individual will practice.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
