We are looking for a results-driven GM Field Assistant to join the Follett team. The GM Field Assistant supports campus store merchandise needs in the purchasing process of General Merchandise categories.
Closely supports buyers and planners and acts as a liaison among stores, vendors, and buying offices. Responsibilities
- Creates products within the Merchandise Management System (MMS) from information provided by the Sourcing teams. Resolves issues related to item creation.
- Prepares, edits and releases purchase orders in MMS from information provided by the Planning teams. Resolves issues related to fulfilling orders.
- Processes merchandise returns and investigate and resolve other merchandise issues.
- Follows up on orders.
- Creates price events in MMS based on information provided by the Sourcing teams.
- Resolves price discrepancies when they occur.
- Resolves receiving and purchase order issues that arise at the store level.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
- 1-3 years experience in a related field preferred.
- Beginner to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer literacy.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
