SUMMARY OF POSITION :
Set-up, program, and operate CNC Mazak turning centers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES :
- Program CNC Mazak Lathes from reading / interpreting blueprints
- Set-up and run Lathe applications that include soft turning, hard turning, threading, and center work (I.D. boring).
- Must inspect the manufactured parts and edit programs or adjust offsets and tooling to meet the print requirements.
- Understand standard and geometric tolerances on blueprints.
- Must be able to set up and use precision bore gages, OD snaps, micrometers, indicators, and gage block set-ups.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
- Work overtime when necessary.
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
Pay commensurate with experience.
