Job Description Summary

The Global Wind Resource team is seeking an energetic team member to help us support sale of wind turbines in the North American market.

Together, we will be responsible for complete and accurate assessment of the wind & energy resource for commercial wind farms across the country.

Essential Responsibilities

• Support the new-units and services teams in their proposals by performing Wind Resource Assessments, Annual Energy Production estimates, and Turbine Layout Optimizations
• Translate measured wind conditions to wind resource characterizations and generate input conditions to Mechanical Loads Assessments
• Develop solutions to increase customer value and enable digital wind farm optimization.
• Communicate and provide recommendations through analysis, preparation, and presentation of technical material to internal and external audiences
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to advance internal and industry initiatives
• Contribute to the creation of customer facing technical documents

Qualifications / Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or a closely related field

• Familiarity with OpenWind, Windographer, GIS tools, and / or Wind Turbine micro-siting
• Field instrumentation, test and / or validation experience

The salary range for this position is $79,400 - $119,000 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.

In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus / variable incentive compensation. This posting is expected to close on November 13th or thereafter.
