MUST pass Advanced Arrhythmia Exam at Orientation (Study Guide Available in Simplify Library)One year minimum CVICU experience required (including ability to recover an immediate post-op CABG).
2+ year CVICU experience preferred Balloon pump, Impella, and ECMO experience preferred (won't need to manage ECMO on own but will need to work with the perfusionist)BLS, ACLS, NIHSS requiredEvery other weekend and one major holiday requirement12-Hr NightsUnit Specific Details 8-Bed CVICU Equipment : Alaris pumps, hoyer lift, vents, sara stedy, PCA, glucostabalizer, bedside cardiac monitorPatient Population : Cardiac bypass, cardiac surgery, adult patients (CABG's, TAVR's, VAD's, Pacemaker's, AICD's, etc.)
