Job Description :
As a Travel IR Tech, you will assist in performing interventional radiology procedures to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
This role involves operating advanced imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities :
- Operate imaging equipment to assist in interventional radiology procedures
- Prepare and position patients for procedures
- Monitor and assess patient status during procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process
- Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Requirements :
- Active Interventional Radiology Technologist certification or license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an IR Tech
- Proficiency in interventional radiology techniques and technology
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel
