Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, permanent opportunity for Laboratory Technician in Louisville, KY!

Shift : Variable : M-F 11pm-7 : 30am

A Direct Hire Opportunity

Principal Responsibilities :

  • Approve incoming critical raw materials for production, retain COAs, and maintain associated records.
  • Test in-process materials, providing technical guidance to operators.
  • Ensure finished product quality and conformity to specifications prior to customer shipment.
  • Maintain and calibrate lab equipment, manage supplies inventory, and provide formulations.
  • Create and retain batch reports and samples for liquid and powder batches.
  • Utilize SPC for product analysis and equipment calibration, perform trend analysis, and develop experiments for optimization.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Process and GMP initiatives, input data into Enterprise One (E1) database, and communicate effectively with other shifts.
  • Manage production demands, assist with customer samples, and learn equipment operation and liquid caramel color production processes.
  • Operate filters, maintain cook sheets, operate mass meters and control panels, and ensure sanitation and maintenance of production area.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and other assigned duties. Qualifications :
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in process-related field.
  • Strong math skills and experience with ERP systems.
  • Team-oriented with decision-making ability, word processing proficiency, and production / lab experience.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask.

Pay will range between $26-$28 per hour (plus $2 / hr shift differential ) based on title, education, and related industry experience.
