Senior Cloud Consultant - US DoD, ProServe Variable WWPS

We are looking for people that have :

Have a strong understanding of large scale computing solutions. The ideal candidate will have past experience working as a systems or support engineer.

You will enjoy keeping your existing technical skills honed and developing new ones, so you can make strong contributions to deep architecture discussions.

You will regularly take part in deep-dive education and design exercises to create truly innovative solutions built on AWS.

• A background of deep technical expertise supporting customers in at least one of the following enterprise technology areas : Information System Security;
• AI / ML; infrastructure automation; cloud migration and deployment; application rationalization and modernization; full lifecycle enterprise Software Development;

DevSecOps pipeline build and management; storage and virtualization management.

An understanding of enterprise software development tools and methodologies, including typical enterprise application architectures and the ability to write basic scripted or compiled code.

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and obtain and maintain an active TS / SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Our Consultants work with Federal Government customers locally, regionally and potentially domestically. As such, Consultants must have the ability to travel to client locations to deliver professional services as needed. (up to 25%)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience
• 7+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience
• 5+ years of software development with object oriented language experience
• 3+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience
• 7+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
• Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
