Summary
Provides evaluation, direction, and application of licensed nursing services to carry out the plan of care and treatment primarily in the homes of clients under the direction / supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse, and within the realm of accepted standards of practice for a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Job Requirements E ducation Required : Graduate of an accredited License Practical Nursing program Experience Required : Minimum of six (6) months work as practical / vocational nurse within the last three (3) years in a hospital, nursing home or home care setting.
Skills Ability to demonstrate good nursing judgment with minimal supervision. Ability to deal effectively and courteously with clients, families, coworkers, and / or physicians, while maintaining and exhibiting an empathetic attitude toward the sick and elderly.
Licensure / Certification / Registration Required : LPN License active in the state of Missouri Required : Successful completion of competency testing Required : BLS must be obtained within 90 days Required : Active Driver's License
