We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fiscal Management Service (FMS) Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and possess a thorough understanding of California's Self Determination Program (SDP).
This role is critical in assisting individuals and families in managing their fiscal responsibilities and ensuring compliance with state regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide support and guidance to clients and families participating in the Self Determination Program.
- Assist clients in budgeting, financial planning, and expense tracking.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to the Self Determination Program.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of client financial records.
- Prepare and submit required reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality services.
- Offer bilingual support and communication to Spanish-speaking clients.
- Educate clients on fiscal management practices and resources available.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Social Work, or a related field.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Knowledge and experience with California’s Self Determination Program.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
