Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year in Berwyn, IL.
As an SLP in our district, you will work collaboratively with students, parents, and educators to provide comprehensive speech and language services to children ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning and development.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred but not required for exceptional candidates.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
