Elementary & Secondary age groups (K-8)

Position Overview :

Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills.

Essential Functions :

• Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success.
• Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports.
• Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.
• Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
• Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.

Qualifications :

• Master’s degree in Speech or Speech Audiology.
• National and state certifications : ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, QBS Certificate, State Speech Language Pathologist Certificate, and State License from the Department of Health Services.
• Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.
• Willingness to participate in events outside normal hours, travel as needed, and engage actively in the role.

Pay :

• Starting at $58 / hr.
• Total on 37.5 hours : $2,175 paid WEEKLY
• For the 24 / 25 school year : $78,300 (36 weeks)
