Job Description : We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Supply Chain and Operations to oversee and manage our end-to-end supply chain processes.
This role will be critical in ensuring the efficient procurement of ingredients, seamless collaboration with our third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and effective coordination with our manufacturing partners.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, procurement, and logistics, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
Supply Chain Management :
Oversee the entire supply chain process from procurement to delivery.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor supply chain performance and implement improvements as needed.
Procurement :
Source and procure high-quality ingredients and materials required for our products.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners.
Logistics :
Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely and efficient product distribution.
Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and inventory management to meet business needs.
Oversee the logistics of new product launches and expansions.
Manufacturing :
Work closely with our manufacturing partners to ensure production schedules meet demand forecasts.
Monitor production quality and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Collaborate with manufacturers to improve production processes and reduce costs.
Operations Management :
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all supply chain and operations activities.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on supply chain and operational performance.
Lead and mentor a team of supply chain and operations professionals.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or operations, preferably in the consumer products industry.
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies.
Proven experience in managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers and manufacturing partners.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
