Our client is a financial services company and is seeking a Manager, Marketing & Communications with a hybrid communications skillset to build and expand our brand and digital presence.
As the firm's foremost authority on marketing and communications practices, this individual will have the ability to transform and evolve market positioning by managing the firm's National's communications strategy, web and social presence, content development, and earned and paid media endeavors.

Key Tasks And Responsibilities
- Serving as the firm's brand ambassador, ensuring all communications efforts align with brand guidelines and leading practices in communications, public relations, social media, user experience, and digital marketing.
- Developing and owning the end-to-end execution of strategic marketing plans, including the management and monitoring of social media and email marketing campaigns.
- Establishing a robust communications calendar of strategic, market-relevant thought leadership activities.
- Driving content generation, including writing and editing social media posts, blog posts, news articles, press releases, media pitches, sales collateral, and website content.
- Improving digital presence and SEO by evolving and innovating websites.
- Managing advertising, sponsorship, and other paid media campaigns / opportunities.
- Securing press / speaking opportunities, and equipping executives to excel in these opportunities by preparing briefing documents, talking points and related materials, and managing and executing media training as necessary.
- Developing, testing, and scaling new strategies to reach and acquire followers across various digital platforms (both social and non-social).
- Defining key performance metrics and targets, and regularly creating and presenting reports and dashboards to track communications progress against these goals and derive insights.
- Supporting business development efforts by maximizing the number of inbound leads received and supporting team members in the proposal / outreach process.
- Working collaboratively across all business functions, treating internal teams as "clients", joining engagements with external partners, prospects, and clients, and contributing to firm-wide efforts with innovative thinking and perspectives to improve the quality of all projects and initiatives.
- Monitoring news and social media channels to keep the firm apprised of relevant client news and current events.
Key Skills And Qualifications
- 2-5 years of professional marketing / communications experience, preferably in an agency or professional services environment.
- BA / BS degree in a Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related discipline.
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills-with heightened attention to detail and an ability to effectively communicate complex and fact-based subject matter.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience managing and maintaining CRM and marketing databases.
- Experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics.
- Metrics-driven approach to problem solving.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and the proven ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Initiative and the proven ability to work well independently and within teams.
- Adaptability to unexpected circumstances and willingness to embrace new ideas, perspectives, points of view, and ways of working.
