THE JOB :
The Senior Manager, Property Technology Operations will report to the Director, Property Technology Operations aligning and optimizing the technical services, project support, special event IT Support, and problem management functions to ensure optimal customer experience.
This position will be based from one of our MGM Resorts properties and / or corporate offices in Las Vegas, NV.
THE DAY-TO-DAY :
Engage, give direction, and inspire a team of property IT support staff to deliver excellent experiences for the employees and convention guests.
Point of contact and technical lead for IT projects impacting assigned areas of responsibility.
Develop and manage robust special event IT support program to include scheduling, support, and after action reporting.
Collaborate with other areas of IT and the business to gain exposure in all areas of new products and product changes.
Participate in stages of development, creation, testing and implementation of new IT products.
Identify operational issues related to process / procedures / tools and work across IT teams to resolve.
Provide data and reporting of key performance indicators and trends to IT department and others adhoc, weekly, monthly, and as needed.
Direct the coordination of technical and administrative support activities including installation, repair, preventative maintenance, and upgrades of IT equipment at property sites.
Provide support to the Director of Property Technology Operations and their team as needed.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE :
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience.
4+ years of prior relevant experience in cross domain Information technology experience, including endpoint, server, network & WiFi, mobile device, and application support.
2+ Years of prior relevant experience in a supervisory / leadership role in the Information Technology, Event or related field.
