Electrical Superintendent
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Superintendent to lead job crews on industrial electrical projects nationwide.
This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of electrical systems, and a commitment to safety and quality.
You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
Day to Day Duties
- Travel to project sites across the country as needed.
- Plan, organize, and direct daily work activities of job crews.
- Hire, train, and, if necessary, discharge employees according to company policies.
- Review job plans, specifications, and contract scope to ensure accuracy.
- Attend and contribute to coordination meetings.
- Monitor and document project progress, generating RFIs and other communications as needed.
- Enforce compliance with National Electrical Codes and safety regulations.
- Order materials, manage tool control, and ensure job site cleanliness.
- Track and approve employee work hours.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Extensive experience in the industrial electrical field.
- Proven ability to lead and manage crews in diverse work environments.
- Knowledge of NEC, OSHA safety standards, and L.O.T.O policies.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with installing and troubleshooting PLCs, AC / DC drives, and motor control systems.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and at heights.
