Vice President, Clinical Programs - Remote position in Atlanta, Georgia
The VP, Clinical Programs directs the research, development, and evaluation of clinical standards, quality assessment, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement activities in support of enterprise clinical operations for evidence-based, patient-centered care delivery.
This role works cross-functionally with sales, executive and market leadership, learning-development, and finance teams to enhance clinical care delivery and implement evidence-based practices in managing health-related conditions.
The VP is accountable for enterprise clinical leadership in the design and oversight of clinical specialty programs, outcome analysis, and the integration of clinical education across disciplines and departments.
This position monitors and improves the quality of patient care.
Essential Functions :
- Develops and supports the region to integrate evidence-based practice guidelines and updates them on an ongoing basis.
- Works with Regional Leadership to develop education for leadership and staff, including baseline testing, post-training testing, and benchmark metrics.
- Leads / supports the innovation and implementation of value-based clinical practice.
- Responsible for leadership of national account clinical development and providing support for new initiatives.
- Oversees and monitors clinical program metrics through analysis and makes ongoing recommendations.
- Identifies, develops, and monitors clinical programs to fulfill clinical outcome and education objectives.
- Assures best-in-class training and education for recruitment and retention goals.
- Oversees applicable studies, publications, and seeks out potential grants and academic partnerships.
- Partners with Regional Leadership in the execution of new clinical initiatives and operational enhancements.
- Collaborates with Regional Leadership to ensure evidence-based practices and overall clinical policy compliance.
- Oversees the development of clinical programs, policies / procedures, and educational tools.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Required Experience / Skills :
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, public health administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of clinical experience, including five years of clinical management with at least 3 years at a senior level within a large healthcare multi-site organization.
- Preferred 10 years of Home Health experience.
- RN, PT, or OT Licensure.
- Knowledge of home health regulatory and administrative requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with clinical research and informatics.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good project management and organization skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must read, write, and speak fluent English.
- Must have good and regular attendance.
- Approximate travel requirement : 40%.
