The Director of Operations is responsible for building operational systems and providing exceptional leadership that enables our CEO and school-based leaders to effectively support the mission.
The DOO reports to the CEO and CFO of Icelaven Development Group and is a member of Reason and Republic’s executive team.
The DOO manages a team of school-based Principals. In addition, the DOO will work closely with organizational entities such as Finance, Human Resources, Marketing / Enrollment, and IT to design and implement operational systems and tools.
Responsibilities
People-Centered Leadership
- Set vision for organization-wide operations success in partnership with Icelaven ownership group and CEO of Reason and Republic.
- Build buy-in, support others, and establish accountability systems in executing a vision for operations success
- Adept at empowering their direct reports to successfully lead their functions; displays a consistent ability to offer the right level of support at the right time
- Provide regular coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to School operational leads
- Will function as a significant partner in leading and evolving our Human Resources
- Work with organizational entities to enhance current policies, processes, and systems.
- Collaborate with other senior leadership team members to understand the needs of each team and serve as a solutions-oriented thought partner.
- Work with Finance department to oversee budget development, accounts payable, financial reporting compliance, and audits.
- Oversee vendor relationships and procurement

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in operations leadership.
- Experience working within education management and / or school-level operations leadership
- Demonstrated success in effectively building, developing, and leading teams.
- Knowledge and experience using the Google and Microsoft Suites.
- Bachelor’s degree Required
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree from an accredited college or university; MBA preferred
