Job Title : Industrial Mechanic
Location : Fort Worth, TX
Job Type : Full-time, Temp to Hire
Pay Range : $22-26 per hour (DOE)
Job Description :
We are seeking skilled Industrial Mechanics to join our team, a leading tire assembly business. The Industrial Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner
- Replace parts and components as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Keep work area clean and organized
Requirements :
- Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or similar role
- Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of machinery and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications :
- Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance or a related field
- Experience in the tire manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting
