Retail Planning Business Analyst needs 2+ years' work experience in retail planning, buying or merchandising
Retail Planning Business Analyst requires :
- Bachelor's degree in retail, business, finance, marketing or related fields
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills - able to extract conclusions from available data
- Self-starter
- Able to use sound critical thinking to provide innovative solutions
- Strong time management & organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office Experience (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Knowledge of Retail Math and Planning, Buying and Merchandising principles
Retail Planning Business Analyst duties :
- Collaborate across all functions including Operations, Visual Merchandising, Marketing and Communications to execute a comprehensive product and inventory strategy
- Provide weekly replenishment unit recap to the Distribution Center
- Manage Drop Tracking, Ontime Arrival to Store
- Communicate sales, inventory, and service level results weekly to Manager / Director
- Reduce excess inventory through ownership of MS recalculations and weekly / monthly inventory reviews
- Maximize store in-stock service level to maximize sales & meet consumer's needs
