We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS Tele RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in monitoring patients, administering medications, and providing comprehensive care in a fast-paced medical-surgical telemetry unit.

Position : Travel Registered Nurse

Location : Memphis, Tennessee

Schedule Day 4x12-Hour (07 : 00 19 : 00)

Duration : 13 Week Contract

Unit : Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS Tele RN)

What You'll Do :

In this role as a Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS Tele RN), you will continuously monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms and vital signs, providing critical assessments and prompt interventions when necessary.

You will administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Additionally, you will educate patients and their families on medical conditions and post-discharge care, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate patient care.

Requirements :

• 2 years’ experience with travel or 3 years’ experience with no travel
• Compact or TN License at time of submittal
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility
• COVID-19 Vaccine
• Flu Vaccine

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and other vital signs for patients in the telemetry unit.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
• Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements

Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Do you have your RN License in the State of Assignment or a Compact License?

Do you have a min of 2 years experience as a travel nurse or a min of 3 yrs exp. in nursing?

This is a travel RN Contract. Confirm you live at least 100 miles from the facility located in 38116
