Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and goals.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities to improve their physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
• Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques, equipment, and home modifications to enhance their independence and safety.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatments, observations, and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice.

Qualifications :

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in Florida.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in home health or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to patients' homes.
