SUMMARY :
Responsible for implementing and maintaining of Quality Plans as developed by Adhesives Technology by performing the following duties :
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Includes the following : (Other duties may be assigned)
- Performs Quality Control inspections on incoming materials, in-process batches, and completed batches in a timely manner.
- Performs post control testing and evaluation as required.
- Responsible for the verification of batches meeting all specifications.
- Responsible for providing feedback to R&D concerning out of specification trends with products in production.
- Responsible for the calibration of mechanical / electrical components for testing, as required, including all records, both written and computer.
- Maintain QC database, creating reports, as needed.
- Provides assistance to R&D and Engineering, as needed.
- Make Small Batches for R&D and production as needed per formula.
- Perform testing and evaluation for R&D and Engineering departments.
- Maintain the integrity of the QC Database to insure accurate information is recorded.
- Reviews customer complaints and returns to determine the disposition of the suspect or defective material or part. Provide this disposition to appropriate parties.
- Responsible for maintaining the housekeeping in the Quality Control Lab.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities indicated above satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
- Minimum 2 years QC (Quality Control) experience in an industrial environment;
- Experience with polymer technology a plus;
- Excellent communication and organization skills;
- Proficient in computer and planning skills;
- Accurate and detailed with high quality work ethic;
- Diligent in following procedures;
- Able to work flexible work schedule and overtime;
Multitasking capabilities.

Ability to preplan daily activities in support of all the above.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION :
Associates or Technical Degree from four-year College or University; or three to five years related experience and / or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay : $19.00-$24.00 per hour
Schedule : 7am-3 : 30pm M-F
