INGENIA Therapeutics Inc. is a biotech startup company currently located at the Ipsen-Biolabs, Watertown, MA. We strive to develop antibodies to treat multiple diseases, including cancer and inflammatory diseases.
The ideal candidate must possess a robust understanding of PK / PD, ADA principles, and TK relationships as they apply to assessing pre-clinical animal tolerability and efficacy.
The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in pharmacometrics, along with a solid grasp of biology and expertise in assay development to facilitate PK modeling studies within the team.
Effective communication, familiarity with drug development processes, and the ability to lead and collaborate within a diverse team are also essential qualifications for this role.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Assay developments including plate and cell-based immunological or biochemical assays for PK / PD, ADA, and biomarkers.
- Perform biochemical assays, including reporter assays and cell-based assays.
- Analyze data using GraphPad Prism, JMP, and MS Office.
- Maintain accurate and complete electronic laboratory notebooks in accordance with INGENIA’s policy.
- Establish & update SOP documentation for all relevant processes as needed.
- Present and communicate research findings at internal and external meetings.
- Assist with general laboratory maintenance and housekeeping.
- Continuously seek and evaluate techniques and opportunities that will improve quality, efficiency, or scalability of workflow.
- Requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- MA or BS in Biochemistry / Pharmacology or related discipline with 5+ (MS) or 7+ (BS) years in industry (Biotech / Pharmaceutical).
- Should possess strong assay development and validation skills.
- A deep understanding of PK, ADA, and biomarker assay development principles and techniques (MSD, ELISA, SPR, BLI) for biologics.
- Experience with assay validation (Dilutional linearity, % recovery, precision & accuracy).
- Proficiency in Prism, Microsoft Office, and ELN.
- Capable of functioning both independently and collaboratively, adeptly handling multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and fulfilling assignments promptly, sometimes under accelerated timelines.
- Strong attention to detail and thorough organizational skills.
