Fleet Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities :
Schedule and coordinate regular maintenance and repairs to ensure all vehicles and equipment are in optimal working condition.
Work with internal mechanics or external service providers to address any mechanical issues promptly.
Ensure all vehicles meet DOT regulations and safety standards.
Maintain up-to-date records of vehicle inspections, registrations, and insurance.
Monitor and manage fleet inventory, including vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
Track usage and performance metrics to optimize fleet efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Plan and coordinate the logistics of vehicle and equipment deployment to various construction sites.
Ensure timely delivery and availability of required machinery and tools.
Monitor fuel consumption and maintain adequate fuel supplies.
Manage inventory levels for spare parts, tires, and other maintenance supplies.
Maintain detailed records of fleet operations, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and usage logs.
Generate reports for management to provide insights into fleet performance and operational costs.
Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of new vehicles and equipment.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance fleet operations efficiency.
Provide support to drivers and equipment operators, ensuring they understand maintenance protocols and safety procedures.
Conduct training sessions on proper use and care of vehicles and equipment.
