Legent Health is looking for Materials Manager to join our team. We seek talented partners transforming healthcare, one patient at a time.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate Degree Business Administration or related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary.
  • Bachelors’ Degree Business Administration preferred.
  • A minimum five years’ experience in a Materials Management supervisory capacity.

Position Summary

The Materials Manager is responsible for purchasing, inventory management, receiving, storage, distribution of supplies and medical equipment.

Position Responsibilities

  • Directs and coordinates material management functions.
  • Manages purchasing, inventory management, receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain materials accountability systems to support hospital.
  • Accountable for all medical supply / services spend and resultant financial results with respect to budget / forecasting / targets.
  • Accountable for direct reports and their productivity.
  • Accountable for building and maintaining relationships with peer department heads and administrative leadership teams.
  • Represents Supply Chain in various committees and meetings.
  • Directs product conversion efforts.
  • Accountable for meeting Supply Chain measures of success related to spend / inventory / HR / customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of material flow, utilization analysis and supply chain optimization.
  • Charged to continually develop hospital identified savings prospects and exploit known opportunities.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
