Immediate Openings for Homemaker Companions and Caregivers
Preferred Care at Home of Westchester County & Putnam is looking for compassionate caregivers to join our team. We specialize in providing in-home care for the elderly, helping them maintain comfort and independence in their own homes.
Many seniors face loneliness and lack support from family or friends for everyday tasks. Our dedicated Companions offer the social interaction and companionship they need to enhance their quality of life.
Some of the tasks required of a Companion / Caregiver :
- Companionship
- Medication reminders and assistance
- Grooming reminders
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Light housekeeping, general clean-up, dishes, and laundry
- Shopping and errands
- Transport and escort to doctor appointments, etc.

We are recruiting for cases located in Westchester & Putnam, NY
We are seeking individuals who are responsible, respectful, reliable, experienced, and punctual . If you possess these qualities and have a genuine passion for helping others in our community, we encourage you to apply.
DRIVERS ARE NEEDED , but not required for all positions. Applicants should own a car and possess a valid driver's license and car insurance.
Qualifications (Preferred but not required for all cases) :
- Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Personal Care Aide (PCA)
- At least 2 years of in-home care experience
- Driver (Preferred)
- Must be residing in the US
- Can work without any sponsorship
- Must have and must be able to provide SSN / ITIN
Job Types : Full-time, Part-time
Salary : $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedules :
- Dayshift, Nightshift, Overnights & Live in
- You will work based on your availability
